starting colts to correcting older horses

Lay-up Care
We'll take
care from the orphaned foal to post surgery care of older horses - 24hr/day
care and service at its best. We are in excellent relations with the
local Equine Hospital. Give us a call next time you need somebody to
take care of your special horse with special needs!
Foaling / Rebreeding mares
We
specialize in foaling out mares and send them home bred back to your
stallion of choice. We have several foaling paddocks under constant
surveillance and work with a foal alarm to assure immediate attention to
the new born foal and help if needed.

Boarding
We offer a
full service, worry-free boarding facility with lots of amenities. A
150x250 ft. lighted riding arena with viewing stand and two roundpens (one
is 125 ft. diameter and the other one is 60 ft. diameter.) Wash rack with hot
and cold water, bathroom, washer/dryer. Two tack rooms, individual and/or
group turnouts onto grass pastures. All pastures have either run in
sheds or large trees for shade. All the pastures have mist sprayers to
keep the horses cool in the hot Florida Summer days. The 14x14 ft.
stalls are thickly bedded with sawdust and get cleaned twice daily. We
use an automatic Fly Spray System over each stall and each stall has a
fan to keep the horses cool even inside the barn. All the little extras
that usually add up your boarding bill such as blanketing, fans, water
misters, mineral supplement, extra hay and so on and so forth are
included in all our prices, starting at 350.- for pasture board (yes,
they have misters on the pasture!) to our exclusive full board of 500.-/month.

"As a
boarding stable, the pride of ownership shows in the condition of the
farm and the resident horses. The barn itself is immaculate with stalls
cleaned serveral times daily. The pastures are large, well-kept and
grassy with shelter available and the horses are seperated at feeding
time. This was a great bonus as my former mare's status was
bottom-of-the-herd and had lost weight at other barns by being run off
her bucket. She became fat, slick and shiny during her stay at Cambridge
Star Farm." - Daphne McCord
